A good-hearted Yankees fan recently returned a Red Sox World Series ring to its rightful owner. Luigi Militello found the pristine 2013 championship ring inside the bathroom of the restaurant he owns called Luke’s Bar and Grill.

The shiny 14-carat white gold jewelry piece certainly stood out with a Boston Strong logo surrounded by diamonds, rubies and sapphires. Militello picked up the ring, took a photo of it and posted it to his Facebook page.

There he asked his friends to share the post, hoping the owner would come forward. Meanwhile, a man named Drew Weber was in panic mode upon realizing he lost the ring.

Weber had visited the restaurant just before misplacing it and called up the business. Militello confirmed he had it, but jokingly told Weber he wasn’t getting it back easily.

The two men met face-to-face and put their differences aside to talk about baseball and their opposing teams for nearly a half an hour. Now Weber has his ring back and Militello got an invite to Fenway Park on Sept. 28 when the Red Sox will play the Yankees.
