Rio's Maracana Stadium holds test evacuation ahead of World Cup

As Rio de Janeiro prepares to host its first World Cup match, emergency services are testing evacuation plans.
On the ground, and in the air, officials simulate evacuations Saturday for both an unattended bag and an injured player extraction.
A helicopter highway landing halts traffic as FIFA officials, firefighters, volunteers and other security forces gather outside the stadium.
Officials are stressing the complexity of the operation.
(SOUNDBITE) (Portuguese) CHIEF COMMANDER OF RIO DE JANEIRO FIRE-FIGHTERS SERGIO SIMOES SAYING:
"It was a challenge to integrate the various organs of the public services. The military police and the fire-fighters already have a lot of experience carrying out operations in the stadium, but we wanted to integrate these public services with the stewards and those working for private companies, which also come into our planning."
The stadium will host its first match on June 15 between Argentina and Bosnia.
