Afghan roadside bomb kills 12 civilians

In Afghanistan, a roadside bomb has killed 12 civilians including seven women in the east of the country.

The attack comes just days after US President Barack Obama announced that 9,800 troops will remain in Afghanistan after combat missions end in December.

That decision depends on Afghan’s new president signing a Bilateral Security Agreement after the country’s presidential election planned for June.
