Pot vending machine unveiled in Colorado for medical marijuana users

A new marijuana vending was unveiled in Colorado on Friday. The Zazz machine, manufactured by American Green, will dispense smokable, edible, and drinkable pot products.
The COO of American Green's parent company explained the identification process, "They would swipe their driver's license at which point multiple cameras would allow us to use some advanced biometrics to make absolutely certain that the person who swiped the card is the owner of that card," said Stephen Shearin.
Dispensary owners hope that the machine will help track inventory and cut down on theft by patients and employees. Products will be tagged with radio frequency identification to track the location of products before and after the sale.
The prototype machine was on display outside Montana's Smokehouse in Avon, CO but fully functioning models will only be available inside official medical marijuana dispensaries.
