Episode 2 of Children's Med Dallas continues the storylines of heart transplant patient Rylynn Riojas and stem cell transplant patient Sophie Tilley. Both patients are shown undergoing their respective transplants. Also, Dr. Andrew Koh, director of the stem cell transplant program, is featured away from the hospital, and Dr. Alex Kane, director of plastic and craniofacial surgery, is introduced along with his patient, Taylor Pierre, a 16-year-old boy who is having a new nostril created.
