In January, Greece took over the rotating EU presidency, and one of its priorities is that of illegal immigration. Our team in Greece takes us to the island of Mytilini. Like Lampedusa in Italy, it has become a gateway to the European Union. Migrants, often from African countries, risk their lives to cross the dangerous waters of the Mediterranean for a chance at a new life in what they see as the prosperous EU.
