Braverman grilled on immigration by Home Affairs Committee
  • last year
Suella Braverman admits, “we have failed to control our borders”, at the Commons Home Affairs Committee. The home secretary and her department's top civil servant Matthew Rycroft have been ticked off by committee chair Dame Diana Johnson for not knowing how many judicial reviews have been launched over the Manston migrant processing centre. Mr Rycroft was also not able to say if he thought the stalled £140 million Rwanda asylum policy is value for money. Report by Jonesia.
