Large crowds marched on Congress in Madrid on Saturday against the government’s new raft of austerity measures.

But there was also anger at new laws against spontaneous protests, rallies leading to violence and the filming of police during protests.

Protesters unveiled banners denouncing them as anti-constitutional.
