AFRICA NEWS - Relative calm reigns in the Central African Republic

"The chaos is over". That was the message from the Central African Republic's new interim leader, Alexandre-Ferdinand Nguendet, as he deployed hundreds more soldiers to stop sectarian violence. Also, South Sudan's opposing factions have resumed ceasefire talks in Addis Ababa, while government troops aim to retake the rebel-held town of Bor. And Japan's premier visits Ethiopia on the final stop of an African tour it is hoped will strengthen business ties with the continent.
