Pit bulls attack and kill 63-year-old California woman

Pit bulls killed a 63-year-old woman on her morning walk in Littlerock, Calif. this morning.

Three or four pit bulls mauled the Hispanic woman to death as she walked along Avenue S. A woman driving by saw the scene and honked her horn to chase the dogs away, then called for help. One of the dogs was still attacking when the first policeman arrived. He drove the dog off, but it turned back and charged the policeman. He fired a shot, but missed, and the dog disappeared into the desert. Authorities are searching for the dogs.
