Animal abuse: Man arrested for abusing peacock

A Chicago man is facing charges of animal cruelty after having sex with his pet peacock, killing it. David Beckman, 63, is facing a raft of charges including cruelty to animals, drug possession, battery and making sexual advances toward children. Investigators allege Beckman committed an act of sexual violence against his peacock, named Phyl, with such vigour that it died.
