Tour bus crashes in Bangkok injuring German tourists

A bus carrying tourists collided with a height barrier beam at the foot of a traffic flyover in Bangkok on Tuesday night. No deaths have been reported, but 12 occupants of the bus were injured, including 10 German tourists as well as the Thai driver and tour guide.

The bus, operated by the Pong Prasert Tour Co, was taking the occupants from Sanam Luang to the Amari Atrium Hotel. The bus was on Phetchaburi Road, less than 1 km away from its destination when it hit the barrier.

All of the injured bus occupants were taken to Rama 9 hospital.
