Luxley is a New Orleans wildfire prepared to heat up the music scene. A pair of melodiously driving guitars composed by Ryan Gray and Joseph Estrade enchant the ears while a sensual rhythm section headed by Casey Contreary and Garland Hoover captivate the body. All tied together by the profound poetic prose and flowing form of Gray's vocalization, Luxley has all of the pieces in place to bring a new, fresh, and versatile sound to the music industry.
In less than a year from their creation, Luxley has performed and drew substantially at some of the most prestigious venues in New Orleans such as The House of Blues, One Eyed Jacks, and The Howlin' Wolf. Constantly working to build upon an already strong local presence, Luxley also strives to bring a new electrified national presence to the Big Easy by reaching out to bands and acts all over the country and pulling them to the city. By booking and performing along side such acts as Super Water Sympathy, The Rocketboys, HRVRD, and Lord Buffalo, their efforts have shown fruitful and continue to produce for the devoted New Orleans music goers.
Beyond just playing energetic and exciting live shows and incessantly marketing themselves, Luxley has also recently self-produced and released their premiere EP, "Elegance," which clearly displays the bands versatile sound in just three songs. From the radio-rock aura of "Prism Kites," to the adrenaline infused party rock hit, "Thieves," to the ethereal and sensual title track, "Elegance," the Elegance EP is a so-called roller-coaster ride of emotions and sounds.
From end to end, Luxley is an eclectic package prepared to bring a fully unique experience to both the stage and your car stereo.
