Spain "murder-suicide" case: family found dead in their Mijas house

A British man, his wife and his daughter have been found dead in their house in the southern Spanish town of Mijas in what police think is a murder-suicide case.
According to local reports, police believe the three died from gunshot wounds fired by one of the adults.

According to El Mundo, the man's wife suffered from a physical disability, while the daughter was affected by Down Syndrome. Police think the man shot them first before committing suicide in the living room. The landlord entered the house when no one answered the door, and found the man lying dead on the sofa. He called the Civil Guard, who inspected the house and found the man's wife and daughter in the bedroom wrapped in a blanket. According to the BBC, the identity of the family members will be released after a post-mortem examination.
