Playing in the Band & Uncle John's Band & Ocean City MD - Kayaking - Swimming - Fishing 7-8-2011

On the morning of July 8, 2011, I had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy a sunrise and film so many activities on the Ocean City MD beach! Even though the incredible early morning sunrise was spectacular, I was fascinated by two young athletes! These two women were swimming and kayaking in the ocean and they were awesome! I captured some of their prowess on film, but it does not justify their incredible athleticism! They would repeatedly launch the kayak into the waves, and, while one kayaked, the other would swim nearby! They completed at least five cycles of this activity and I think they independently swam and kayaked at least a mile in a few minutes in front of me! It was a beautiful morning! And there were many other people on the beach too! And I took some close-up photos of a couple who were there on vacation from Ireland! You never know who you will run into on the beach in Ocean City MD!
I have used The Grateful Dead songs Playing in the Band and Uncle John's Band from RFK June 20,1992 as a soundtrack!
Playing In The Band by Robert Hunter; Bob Weir
Some folks trust to reason
Others trust to might
I don't trust to nothing
But I know it come out right
Say it once again now
Oh I hope you understand
When it's done and over
Lord, a man is just a man
Playing
Playing in the band
Daybreak
Daybreak on the land
Some folks look for answers
Others look for fights
Some folks up in treetops
Just look to see the sights
I can tell your future
Look what's in your hand
But I can't stop for nothing
I'm just playing in the band
Playing
Playing in the band
Daybreak
Daybreak on the land
Standing on a tower
World at my command
You just keep a turning
While I'm playing in the band
If a man among you
Got no sin upon his hand
Let him cast a stone at me
For playing in the band
Playing
Playing in the band
Daybreak
Daybreak on the land
Playing
Playing in the band
Daybreak Daybreak on the land

Uncle John's Band - Robert Hunter - Jerry Garcia

Well the first days are the hardest days, don't you worry any more
'Cause when life looks like easy street, there is danger at your door
Think this through with me, let me know your mind
Wo-oh, what I want to know is, are you kind?

It's a buck dancer's choice my friend, better take my advice
You know all the rules by now, and the fire from the ice
Will you come with me, won't you come with me?
Wo-oh, what I want to know, will you come with me?

God damn, well I declare, have you seen the like?
Their walls are built of cannon balls
Their motto is "don't" tread on me"

Come hear Uncle John's Band, playing to the tide
Come with me or go alone
He's come to take his children home

It's the same story the crow told me, it's the only one he knows
Like the morning sun you come and like the wind you go
Ain't no time to hate, barely time to wait
Wo-oh, what I want to know, where does the time go?

I live in a silver mine and I call it beggar's tomb
I got me a violin and I beg you call the tune
