New Leeds United boss Brian McDermott says the Elland Road fans were crucial in their opening day Championship 2-1 win over Brighton.
New signing Luke Murphy struck late on to send the Whites fans beserk and pick up an early three points to leave McDermott delighted.
He told talkSPORT: "I'm new eyes to this place and that was amazing before the game and that was amazing at the end of the game. The fans dragged us over the line today.
