Exclusive – Lord Coe wants tougher penalties for drugs cheats

Lord Sebastian Coe has told talkSPORT he wants to see drugs cheats hander tougher penalties.
Athletics’ reputation has once again been harmed after Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay were found to be amongst six stars who failed doping tests.
And Coe believes that the sport must do more to punish those involved in the scandals as he deems the current two-year ban too lenient.
“I’ve really been fighting this one for as long as I’ve been a competing a senior athlete,” Coe told Drive Time.
