Abandoned Chihuahua Nurses Kittens

Three animals were found in front of the Terrell Animal Shelter. An abandoned Chihuahua was acting as a mother, nursing two tiny kittens.
Dogs are amazing animals in many aspects.
Recently, three animals were found in front of the Terrell Animal Shelter.
A black Chihuahua had been tied to a pole and a box with two other tiny creatures was right next to the dog.
The police officer who discovered the animals, stated “I looked and saw two little balls of fur with her and I thought it was a couple puppies. I went to move them into a cage and moved the mama dog out of the way; much to my surprise mama dog is nursing two kittens.”
The cop took the kittens out of the heat and gave them all food and water. The dog and kitties were then handed over to a human foster mom with the group called Paws Patrol.
The small pooch and the two 12 day old kittens are now living with Deborah Franklin. The Chihuahua has taken on the role of mother to the kittens.
She constantly watches the babies and responds to their cries. She continues to nurse and clean them.
