Radical cleric deported from UK to Jordan

Radical Muslim cleric Abu Qatada leaves London early on Sunday.
After an eight year legal battle, he's heading home to Jordan to face trial on terrorism charges.
Once dubbed "Osama bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe", Qatada has been in and out of jail in Britain since 2001.
Later on Sunday he stepped onto Jordanian soil in the capital Amman.
Britain was finally able to extradite Abu Qatada once Jordan approved a treaty that satisfied the concerns of British judges about the use of evidence obtained through torture.
The Jordanian government says he will face a fair trial respecting human rights.
