The NBA Champion for the 2012-13 season will be crowned in a dramatic Game 7 when the San Antonio Spurs take the court to face the Miami Heat in a pro basketball game on Thursday night.

Start time from Miami is scheduled for 9PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ABC TV.

Tim Duncan led San Antonio with 30 points and 17 rebounds in over 44 minutes on 13 of 21 shooting. Kawhi Leonard stepped up with 22 points and eleven boards as he made 9 of his 14 shots. Tony Parker had an off shooting performance hitting on just 6 of 23 from the field for 19 points and had a shot at the win at regulation but missed a fall away jump shot that would have crowned the Spurs as NBA Champions. San Antonio is the second best shooting team in basketball as they make 48.1% from the field. They are a top five team in the league from the three point line by making 37.5%. From the free throw line San Antonio is second best of all 32 NBA teams by hitting on 79.1%.

The Heat shot 46.9% from the floor and made 11 of 19 three point attempts. Miami got to the free throw line 21 times and made 16 shots.

LeBron James led the Heat with 32 points and eleven boards on 11 of 26 shooting. Mario Chalmers showed up in game six with 20 points on 7 of 11 from the field and 4 of 5 from three. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were subpar as they combined for 24 points on 11 of 27 shooting. Miami has faced elimination once this post season and they delivered a knockout blow by defeating Indiana 99-76 as a -7 point betting favorite in game seven of the Eastern conference finals. The Spurs are experienced while the Pacers were not under these circumstances. Miami is extremely efficient offensively on their home court as they average 104.6 points, 50.1% shooting and 39.7% from three point distance this year.
