I'm a fan of antique technology, in particular vintage electronics. A few of my friends, along with myself, are trying to accurately document the history of old technology. We mostly have engineering degrees, so we'll make fewer of the pitfalls, pure historians make. You must look at things dynamically, over time (can anybody say differential equations) to make true sense of history. Looking at it statically, will lead you to many false conclusions.
