Two new counsellors for Hackett’s Quarry summer camp named Laura Kearney and Max Brinly drive to the campsite a night before the opening. During the drive down the country road, they crashed into the woods to avoid hitting something that was on the road.
After encountering a strange sheriff who help them bring their vehicle back on the road, Max, and Laura head to the camp to spend the night there, despite the Sheriff telling them not to.
