The Future of Electric Vehicles in Pakistan | A Timesglo Report

To reduce energy use and pollution, Pakistan's government has been pushing for the adoption of electric vehicles. Acceptance of many electric vehicles would surely contribute to easing significant difficulties like carbon pollution and fuel dependence as well as to enhancing economic success. Despite several cross-sectoral and multidimensional obstacles, Pakistan is presently considering converting from non-electric to electric vehicles (EVs). This study built an electric vehicle purchase intention impact mechanism model using the theory of planned behavior (TPB) model (EVs). In addition to monetary policy, it took into account consumer attitudes (AT) and subjective norms (SN), as well as cognitive states (CS), product perception (PA), perceived behavioral control (PBC), non-monetary incentive policy (NMIP), and societal norms (SN) (MIP).
