ISKRA, société indépendante de production et de diffusion, fut créée sous le nom de SLON au cours de l’automne 1968 à la suite de la production de deux films: LOIN DU VIETNAM et A BIENTOT
J’ESPERE qui exprimaient une nouvelle volonté de nombreux cinéastes du moment de participer plus directement aux enjeux politiques de l’époque. Son catalogue regroupe aujourd’hui plus de 160 films
dont une dizaine de films de Chris Marker.
