ROUND 3 - Only a day after Travis Logie dashed the hopes of World No. 5 Dane Reynolds, the relentless South African stayed consistent with his upsets by edging out reigning event and ASP World Champion, Mick Fanning, from the Rip Curl Pro Portugal.

For round three, competition moved from Supertubos to the Belgas where two-to-three foot waves greeted the remaining field. In another day of drama, Travis Logie films as a great ally for Kelly Slater's 10-peat campaign by again knocking out one of his ASP World Title contenders in Fanning.
