Moxley: Wolves misery sparked by McCarthy sacking
  • 11 years ago
Neil Moxley, the Daily Mail's Midlands football correspondent, says Wolves are paying the price for sacking Mick McCarthy last season and failing to adequately replace him.
The Molineux club are on the brink of a second successive relegation, with Dean Saunders' side three points adrift of safety in the Championship with just one game left of the season.
"It's been a catalogue of poor decision making that was sparked by the decision to sack Mick McCarthy," said Moxley, speaking on the Sports Breakfast.
