The Premier League champions look set to relinquish their crown to rivals Man United this season, but still look likely to end the season in second place and could find themselves in the FA Cup final against Wigan should they make it past Chelsea.
And Weaver, who spent a decade with the club, believes it’s astonishing that their Italian manager could lose his job despite them being on the brink of winning another trophy.
