THE NERVOUS WRECKORDS - LET THEM ALL TALK

PRESENTED BY - XAVIER BRINKMAN

Let Them All Talk" is the forthcoming and first national release from California's The Nervous Wreckords (features Brian Karscig of LOUIS XIV).Indie Pop is not a favorite description of the band, but with catchy guitar riffs, sass fueled lyrics, melodic choruses and beats that dance, it's hard to not call it pop music. Recorded on all Neve and 60's and 70's gear and equipment in a home studio by Karscig, it can't be called anything but independent. Flavors of T-Rex, Prince, and even some AC/DC appear in their sound, but with an approach that is uniquely their own.Breakups, jealousy, beauty, and confidence, (with a healthy dose of sexual tension) is all rolled into an album that sounds like a party you should've been at. In the 2 years since their formation, they've toured and played with The Killers, Cee-Lo Green, Brandon Flowers, Florence and the Machine, Death Cab for Cutie, the Naked and Famous, and many more. The 2012-year has started with The Nervous Wreckords finishing their album, touring with Weezer, Yuck, Antlers and Wavves through the Caribbean, and preparing for their own US/Canadian tour late Spring.

History
After 3 albums, 4 EP's, and 5 years of extensive international touring with LOUIS XIV, Brian Karscig met Anthony Saffery (producer and member of UK band Cornershop) in 2008 in a hotel bar before a Louis XIV gig in Cambridge, MA. A year later, Brian took 5 songs he had been working on that were to be called "The Nervous Record", flew to Cambridge and mixed at the famous Camp St Studios with Anthony."I had no plans for the record really, I just wanted to do something different than what I'd been doing for the last 5 years", says Karscig. That's at least until The KILLERS heard the EP and said, "You have a band for this right? You should open our Day and Age tour it starts in 3 weeks". Not having a band at the time, Karscig answered, "Of course I do", and so it began. A call to Lindsay Matheson (Guitar) and Daniel Schraer (keyboards), 2 weeks of rehearsals, and the band played their first of 15 shows opening for the KILLERS starting at the SOLD OUT Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.

"The Nervous Record", soon became THE NAILBIGHTER EP, and the name of the band became "The Nervous Wreckords".The result: The Nervous Wreckords were born in October 2009 with a collection of high energy songs that infuse danceable beats with rocking glam guitar riffs and catchy melodically infectious songs.

The NAILBIGHTER EP featured Karscig on vocals, guitars, and pianos, Saffery on break beats and synths, as well as friends gathered from years of touring (Mark Maigaard /Louis XIV, Ray Suen/The Killers, Mark Stoermer/The Killers, and Steve Smith/Dirty Vegas). In support of the EP, The Nervous Wreckords toured with The Killers and played shows at CMJ 2009 in NYC and SXSW 2010.

The Nervous Wreckords released of their first full-length album, VALUMINIUM at the end of 2010. The album was more of a collection of home demos Karscig wanted to release before the band became the force that it has become as a live band, but still gave them a platform to open shows with such acts as Brandon Flowers and CEE LO Green in 2011, and landed songs from the record in commercials for Charlotte Russe and Victoria Secret, Music station placement on Virgin America and Delta Airlines, television show "The Buried Life" on MTV and the movie trailer for "Little Blue Pill".
