ONLY FOREVER:
Only Forever, born in 2007, is a hard rock band hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa. Members, Fernando Policarpo (Vocals), Nick Gibbs (Bass), Sean Stephen (Rhythm Guitar), Neil Ferreira (Lead Guitar), and Jay Pienaar (Drums and Sampling), all have diverse musical backgrounds and influences, which ensures that songs are innovative and an amalgamation of fresh ideas and shared vision.
Only Forever prides itself on not following others, but, rather leading and pushing forward. This is no more evident than when the lights flash on and Only Forever explodes onto stage.
The Only Forever live show is an experience not to be missed, as the energy, passion, and love for the fans and the music is electric and showcases the band's ability to push the crowd to the edge and hook them at will. Only Forever has shared the stage with some of the South African elite and has played far and wide at clubs and top festivals.
Only Forever has been featured on numerous top national and campus radio stations, such as 5FM, TuksFM, 94.7 Highveld Stereo, and UJFM, as well as television appearances and performances on KTV (M-Net) and MK. The track, Bitter Goodbyes, off 2008 debut album, In Silence, also has a music video attached, which has appeared on television and is now available in the social media space, where the band, overall, has an increasingly growing presence, connecting with fans globally and keeping interaction alive continuously, with updates, tracks, and behind the scenes footage and news. The band has also featured in numerous print publications.
As follow up to In Silence, 2012 will see Only Forever releasing Horizon Sets Fire, produced by SAMA nominated Paul McIver of Toneworks. The first single, Black Sunday, is set to hit the airwaves soon and will exemplify why Only Forever is a force to be reckoned with.
