PHIL HAMILTON - BAD

PRESENTED BY KATIE WARNER

His story starts much the same as others, he was born and raised in Burleson, Texas and began singing in church. The Johnson County native also graduated in the same class as Kelly Clarkson. After getting his start at the Greenwood Saloon in Bluffdale, TX thanks to Alan Parsons, his fan base started rapidly growing, the gigs started coming in. His first album, NOTHING TO LOSE yielded two top 15 singles on the Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio Charts with "Nothing to Lose" and "Nine Mile."

Phil Hamilton's new album RENEGADE ROCK N' ROLL has been praised as one of the best new albums of 2012 on the Texas/Red Dirt Music scene. The album has already yielded a number one single and a top ten single on the Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio Report. "Bad," the second single just became his first number one song. "I'm so proud of how the album came together in the studio, said Phil, "Now with radio and fan approval, it makes all the long nights in the studio worth it." "You Can Have Me," was the first single released prior to the album coming out, and it went to all the way up to number 8 on the charts. The accompanying video received airplay on CMT Pure.

He was recently voted as a finalist for "New Male Vocalist," at the Texas Regional Music Awards. Phil was selected as the top 3 new Texas Country bands in DFW as voted by 95.9 The Ranch listeners in 2009. He's opened for major Texas/Red Dirt Artists like the Casey Donahew Band, Randy Rogers Band and the Josh Abbott Band.

The sky is the limit for Phil, and he is climbing to the top quickly to become the face of the Texas Red Dirt Music Movement.
