Beach 87th st Surfing After Sandy

Surfers often see more than coastal destruction when the swell of the century hits a coastline.  All though with Sandy it was hard to ignore it, in fact you couldn’t.  But saying this, you still have to move on.  Sometimes the best outlet is what you do best and thats what the 87th st. surfers are doing.  As it is hard to ignore, here is the story of some that were there first hand.  And if you do want to get involved check out Waves For Water as they are doing a phenomenal job of getting hands on.  http://www.wavesforwater.org/ .  Check out the ‘Surfing After Sandy’ video as it will touch your heart!
