Al-Shabab have claimed responsibility for a suicide car bomb attack which killed eight people in one of Mogadishu's busiest streets. Monday's attack, around lunchtime and near the National Theatre, targeted Khalif Ahmed Ilig, the Mogadishu security chief. The attack is one of the country's worst since al-Shabab were forced out of the city two years ago. Al Jazeera's Peter Greste reports from the bomb site.
