The Rip Curl GromSearch series is an International Series for boys and girls surfers aged 16 years and under.
The series started as a one day event at Jan Juc beach (Torquay, Victoria) in 1999.
It has expanded into an International series held in key surfing regions around the globe including the USA, Brazil, Europe, Indonesia, South Africa, South America and New Zealand.
Over 2,000 surfer groms compete in the series world-wide and it all comes down to the final 8 competitors representing their country at the International final 2014.
