The former Villa Park goalkeeper gives his thoughts on the club’s survival hopes.
The Villans claimed an important 2-1 victory over relegation rivals Reading at the Madejski Stadium thanks to strikes from Christian Benteke and Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Spink, who played more than 300 times for the Midlands side, believes that if Paul Lambert’s men can avoid relegation they will be in an excellent position to progress in the Premier League.
And he reckons they will be a team to look out for over the coming seasons.
