First assaulted, now blamed!

They tried to put the blame on her earlier, and once again Punjab Police has blamed the assault victim. While providing a brazen defense, Punjab police in its preliminary inquiry report has stated that the girl was beaten because she was abusive. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has taken suo moto cognizance of the incident, also issuing a notice to the Punjab Govt.
