Litvinenko lawyer accuses UK of cover up

Lawyers for Alexander Litvinenko's widow have accused Britain and Russia of trying to shut down the inquiry into his death for the sake of trade links.

The former Russian security service officer was poisoned by radioactive polonium in London in 2006.

The British government is pushing to keep certain information confidential at the upcoming inquest into his death.

Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from London.
