Originally from Chicago but down South (Charleston, SC) since 1983...blues piano/vocals/composer, apprenticed with greats of the downhome Southeastern blues scene (Big Boy Henry, Drink Small, Lightnin' Bug Rhodes, Big Daddy Pattman, Chicago Bob Nelson, et. al.). Producer (eight annual blues festivals - www.bluesbash.com etc; record label - Erwin Music (artists include Wanda Johnson, Tony & Company, Paul Kershaw Cajun Band, etc.), 21 years of radio programs). BMI publisher (Blue Chasqui Music). Non-stop blues advocacy, activism, promotion since 1984.
