Reading manager Brian McDermott believes Royals striker Adam le Fondre deserves a place in Roy Hodgson’s England squad.
Le Fondre has been in electric form in recent games, netting two late goals to rescue a point against Chelsea at the weekend, while achieving the same feat in Reading’s 2-1 win over Newcastle earlier this month.
And the Royals boss said he is convinced the forward would perform on an international stage.
