Hastings: Scots must play ugly to end Calcutta Cup curse

This weekend’s Calcutta Cup meeting marks the 30th anniversary of Scotland’s last victory at Twickenham. But former Scotland and Lions captain, Gavin Hastings, told talkSPORT the team of 2013 is big enough, and ugly enough, to end the drought.
The ex-full back was one of many Scottish skippers to lead his side down to south-west London only to return north with nothing. But new coach, Scott Johnson, has selected a bulked-up side for their opening match of the Six Nations, leaving Hastings to hope that losing streak will not stretch into a fourth decade.
