Exclusive – James: Michu’s contract ‘isn’t worth the paper it is written on’

Former Swansea City winger Leighton James has told talkSPORT that Michu signing a new deal with the club is meaningless.
The Spanish star has been excellent for the Welsh side since his £2.2million transfer from Rayo Vallecano in the summer prompting the Jacks to offer him a new deal after just six months.
But James has dismissed this new contract as just a way for the club to protect the value of their asset.
