Turmoil in northern Iraq after a suicide bomber disguised as a mourner kills at least 22 people at a Shiite mosque.

Medical workers scramble to treat the wounded

One man has to be pulled from the body of a loved one.

More than 50 people were wounded after the bomb was detonated in the middle of a crowded funeral ceremony.

The attack comes as the Shi'ite-led government faces pressure from mass Sunni protests raising fears the country could slide back into sectarian conflict.

No one is claiming responsibility for the attack. But al Qaeda's local wing often targets Shi'ite Muslim pilgrims and sites.
