Dreamliners grounded as battery blamed for incident

A team of investigators gather at Japan's Takamatsu airport, looking into a malfunction on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Safety officials believe a faulty battery could be behind an incident on Wednesday (January 16) which forced pilots to make an emergency landing.
Japan, Europe and India have now joined the U.S. in grounding the Dreamliner.
Japan's transport ministry says it's for an indefinite period as further checks are made.
SOUNDBITE: JAPANESE TRANSPORT MINISTRY VICE MINISTER HIROSHI KAJIYAMA, SAYING (Japanese):
"How each airline will deal with the business of keeping people flying, flight changes and such, is a problem for them. From our point of view all we can say is that we will make every effort to ensure the safety of airline passengers."
Wednesday's incident is the latest in a series of problems to hit the Dreamliner.
Just last week, a battery caught fire on one of the planes at an airport in Boston.
