US politician Bill Richardson may have failed to secure the release of an American held in North Korea.
But he says the main success of the visit was the discussions around greater adoption of the internet in North Korea.
This previously un-stated goal goes some way to explaining why Google chief Eric Schmidt was part of the delegation.
