The Directors Guild of America has announced their nominees for this year's DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement. Ben Affleck got a nod for his film "Argo," as did Steven Spielberg for "Lincoln." Other nominees are Kathryn Bigelow for "Zero Dark Thirty," Ang Lee for "Life of Pi, and Tom Hooper for "Les Miserables."

The DGA nominations are often a key indicator of Oscar nominees and winners. The winner of the DGA feature film category will be revealed at a dinner ceremony on February 2 in Los Angeles, three weeks before the Academy Awards.
