Dutch footballer Rafael van der Vaart - who plays for the German Bundesliga side Hamburg SV - and his wife Syvlie are to divorce after 10 years.
The former Spurs and Real Madrid star reportedly
hit his wife during a row at a New Years Eve party and has since apologised.
