Mullah Tahir Ashrafi scandal

I did not see anybody talking about this. I think this was a big news, chief of ulema council was at US embassy. I am wondering what others think about this. Getting d is very bad but what I am curious about is what he was doing at US embassy because mullahs are usually always anti USA.
