North Korea marks Kim death anniversary

It's a year to the day since the announcement of the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.
His son and successor Kim Jong-un marked the anniversary with a visit to the newly-renovated Kumsusan Palace.
The country's state-run broadcaster KRT showed video of Kim and his wife at the re-opening ceremony for the building.
The bodies of the new leader's father and grandfather lie permanently in state here.
The statue of Kim Jong-il is a new addition alongside that of North Korea's founder Kim Il-sung.
