Dallas Cowboys player Josh Brent has been charged with manslaughter following a crash Saturday that left a teammate dead.

Police say the defensive lineman was drunk and speeding when his car smashed into a curb and flipped, killing teammate Jerry Brown Jr.

The 25-year-old Brown was a linebacker on the Cowboy's practice squad but had not played any games with the team.

Police are now working to retrace what happened in the hours before the crash, which happened on this highway in suburban Dallas.

Brent, who has been arrested before on a drunk driving charge, was expected to be arraigned Sunday morning.

He could face up to 20 years in prison on a charge of intoxicated manslaughter.
