The 12-4 New York Knicks will travel to face the 7-9 Charlotte Bobcats in an NBA pro basketball game on Wednesday night. Tip off time from Charlotte is scheduled for 7PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by the NBA League Pass Channel.

The NBA odds have the road team New York Knicks favored by -7 points and the over under line of 197 ½ points. When the odds opened up a few hours ago the Knicks were a -7 point favorite and the total was 197 points. So no movement on the side and a ½ point move on the over.

During the lockout year last season the teams met four times with New York winning three of the four games. Each team covered the spread twice and it happened each time on their home court.

New York enters play with three straight wins. They beat Phoenix on Sunday 106-99 as a -11 ½ point betting favorite. The Knicks have shown improvement on the defensive end of the court by allowing 94 points a game which is eighth best in the league. Carmelo Anthony leads the team with 26 points a night. Offensively they put up 103 points a game good for 4th in the league and they make their three point shots with 41.6% shooting for 2nd best in basketball.

The Bobcats are 5-5 on their home court and a much improved team from last year. They started the year with a record of 7-5 but have now been hit with a four game losing streak. They were very competitive in three of the four games. They fall on Monday 118-112 to the Portland Trailblazers on their home court as a -1 ½ point favorite. Kemba Walker leads the team with 16 points a night. Charlotte needs to improve their shooting as they make 41.5% from the floor good for 28th worst in the league.
