Selena Gomez and Katy Perry sparkle at UNICEF Snowflake Ball

UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) Ambassador Selena Gomez and Katy Perry came out to support UNICEF's eighth annual Snowflake Ball in New York on Tuesday (November 27).
20-year-old Gomez is one of the youngest Ambassadors and said kids have a special place in her heart.
"I started with the Disney Channel and you know, my show had a lot of younger fans. When I see the fans and we have live audience tapings and I see some of them maybe being sick it's just - they are the reason why I am here," said Gomez.
Perry, who hit the red carpet with actress Allison Williams: "If I can take the attention that I have and kind of reprioritize it for other people then I feel like I am doing better work."
Money raised during the event's silent auction will go to benefit the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
